The following image illustrates the architecture of the integration between Nagios and Hyperglance. Both Hyperglance and Nagios interact with servers on the cloud, each for their own purpose. Whilst Hyperglance creates a 3D model of the cloud's topology and fills it with information about the servers, Nagios monitors the health of Servers and their services. On top of this, Hyperglance periodically polls information from Nagios via its API, and adds that to the topology. 

Additionally, Hyperglance is able to issue actions to Nagios, via its API.
